Terms of Service

By installing, accessing, or using PDF Editor by PDFSpace.pro, including its Chrome extension and web app (the “Product”), you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Product.

1. About the Product

PDF Editor by PDFSpace.pro is a product available as a Chrome extension and web app that allows you to add text, barcodes, and QR codes to PDF files and export edited documents. PDF processing occurs locally in your browser.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Product. If you use the Product on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. License and Acceptable Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Product for personal or commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Product in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to bypass paywalls, subscription checks, or licensing controls
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where prohibited by law
• Interfere with or disrupt the Product or related services

You are responsible for the documents you process and any content you create using the Product.

4. Accounts

Some functionality may require you to create an account and sign in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under your account.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals

Some features require a paid subscription (“Pro”).

• Payments are processed by Stripe (a third-party payment processor).
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan).
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You can cancel at any time; cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

If you believe you were charged in error or are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us at ambusinessdev@gmail.com within 14 days of the charge. We will review your request and may issue a refund at our discretion.

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your access to paid features.

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method.

7. Free and Paid Features; Changes

We may add, remove, or change features, including free or paid features, at any time. We may also change pricing or subscription offerings. If a pricing change applies to your subscription, we will provide notice where required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

The Product (including its code, design, text, graphics, logos, and branding) is owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works of the Product.

9. Third-Party Services

The Product may rely on third-party services (such as Firebase Authentication, Stripe, Sentry, Google Analytics, and Google Fonts). Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Product is governed by our Privacy Policy. PDF files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers.

11. Updates

We may provide updates to the Product automatically or otherwise. These Terms apply to any updates unless we provide additional terms.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee the Product will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or meet your requirements.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE PRODUCT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Product at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or continued use could create risk or legal exposure.

Upon termination, your license to use the Product ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will survive.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice within the Product or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Product shall be brought in the courts located in the developer’s jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
